At R&J Collectibles, we want you to be completely happy with your order. Because we deal in collectibles, trading cards, and diecast items, we have set out our policy clearly below to comply with UK consumer law while keeping things fair and straightforward.
1. Change of Mind (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
If you buy an item online, you have a statutory right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
The Timeframe: You must notify us within 14 days of receiving your goods if you wish to change your mind. You then have an additional 14 days to send the item back to us.
Condition: Items must be returned in their original, unopened, and unsealed condition (where applicable, such as sealed trading card packs, booster boxes, or blister-backed diecast cars). If a product has been opened, used, or damaged, a deduction may be made from your refund to reflect any loss in value.
Return Shipping Costs: Unless the item is faulty, you are responsible for the cost of return postage. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
2. Faulty or "Not as Described" Items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have rights if your items arrive damaged, faulty, or not as described:
Within 30 Days: You have the short-term right to reject the goods and receive a full refund.
After 30 Days: If a fault develops later, please contact us right away so we can arrange a repair or replacement.
Return Costs for Faulty Goods: If an item is verified as faulty or incorrect, R&J Collectibles will cover the reasonable cost of return shipping.
3. Exclusions & Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of the collectibles market, certain items cannot be returned for a change of mind unless they arrive damaged or faulty:
Custom Packs / Mystery Items: Any promotional or custom-built mystery packs (such as our launch-day custom card packs) are final sale once opened, as the random assortment element cannot be restocked.
Sealed Trading Cards: Single booster packs or boxes that have been opened or unsealed by the customer cannot be returned due to the nature of random-pull trading card games.
4. How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
Contact us via email at R-JCollectibles@outlook.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
We will provide you with our return shipping address and instructions.
Package your items securely (preferably in their original shipping protection) to prevent damage in transit.
5. Processing Your Refund
Once we receive your returned items and inspect them, we will process your refund within 14 days.
Refunds will be issued automatically to your original payment method.
Under UK law, if you paid for standard delivery when placing your order, that original delivery cost will be included in your refund (though enhanced or express delivery upgrades are non-refundable).
